Is AI actually taking over everything now? And what does that mean for our media, jobs and society? What opportunities and risks does the global AI race present for the future of creative work?

What might the responsible use of AI look like in a civil society that is under increasing pressure? How are political debates and social life changing as a result of AI? How do we protect democratic spaces? And what rules are needed for ‘child-friendly AI’?

In the programme for the re:publica x New Fall Festival, we’ll be examining artificial intelligence from a wide range of perspectives. We’ll be scrutinising the AI hype, discussing what we actually know about the technology and which developments are realistic. We’ll also be looking at the concrete impacts of AI on our everyday lives, our relationships and our notions of autonomy – as well as the ethical questions that arise from them.

Look forward to inspiring talks and panel discussions with numerous experts, and learn lots of new things about AI through our exciting hands-on sessions.

The ‘Artificial Intelligence’ thematic focus is supported by sipgate.
