About re:publica x New Fall Festival

Together with and as part of the New Fall Festival, a civic festival will take place at the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf and the Ehrenhof. It is aimed at everyone who wants to understand, experience and help shape how digital transformation is changing the way we live together.

The two-day programme will focus on questions surrounding digital self-determination, democratic participation, media, culture, artificial intelligence, new public spheres and innovation. The event is explicitly aimed at the wider urban community: citizens, young adults, creatives, activists, initiatives, policymakers, representatives from culture and academia, and everyone interested in the issues shaping our digital society.

re:publica x New Fall Festival thrives on participation. Through the Call for Participation, people can submit their own ideas, perspectives and formats for the programme, from talks, panel discussions and workshops to artistic contributions and other creative formats for exchange and engagement.

The result is a new festival for the digital future: democratic, diverse, accessible and created together.

About re:publica

Since 2007, republica GmbH has organised re:publica Berlin, the festival for digital society. re:publica is the largest conference of its kind in Europe and, for almost 20 years, has provided a platform for debate and exchange on the ever-accelerating pace of digitalisation, its impact on societal change, the economy, art and culture, and shifting political dynamics.

The programme includes talks, discussions, workshops, performances and much more. re:publica participants represent a cross-section of our digital society. At re:publica, bloggers meet policymakers, academics meet entrepreneurs, and artists meet activists. Over the course of its three event days, re:publica Berlin recorded more than 30,000 visits in 2025.
